The Northern Colorado Nightmare tore through the Championship Football League (CFL) last year. The title will now be fought over by nine Colorado teams and the Rapid City War Eagles. Now that the CFL has ten teams it sets up perfectly for a nine game conference schedule without any repeats if they chose to do so.

The details of each team are still developing, but here are the list of teams looking to compete this year:
